The Baby Spa Academy was founded by Tindall de Brouwer—a devoted mother, qualified Biokineticist (University of Pretoria), and lifelong advocate for early childhood wellness. Her vision is simple: to empower women around the world with the scientific knowledge and entrepreneurial skills needed to confidently build and grow their own Baby Spa businesses.

World-Class Expertise Backed by Science

Tindall holds a Master in Science (MSc) Degree in Adapted Physical Activity from the Catholic University of Leuven in Belgium & Norway (2010 - 2012).
Her academic background is complemented by her experience lecturing in the Department of Physiology at the University of Pretoria, where she taught future health professionals.

Tindall’s entrepreneurial journey is rooted in resilience and real-world experience.
She founded and grew her own Baby Spa business (2018), through economic challenges and even a 4-month COVID-19 lockdown during the business’s infancy.
Her insights are not theoretical—they are proven, lived, and tested.

Her efforts in entrepreneurship have been recognised nationally—she was selected as a Top 10 finalist in Jacaranda FM’s “Her Perfect Pitch” programme (2022), celebrating female founders who show innovation and impact.

03 past learners
Our clientele are truly global, with learners from diverse corners of the world completing our course, spanning from Japan, Portugal, Qatar, Kenya, Canada, and beyond. They come from a variety of professional backgrounds, including midwives, physiotherapists, occupational therapists, mompreneurs, and swimming instructors.
​
Completion times for the course vary, typically ranging between 1 to 4 months, depending on the learner's existing knowledge, time set aside for learning and English proficiency. Proficiency in English is required for the course, but for second language English speakers, we offer the flexibility to request a 2-month course extension. We have had numerous learners complete successfully who's first language is not English.
